AUTOMATED HEAT-SETTING MACHINE
Our spring heat setting machines elevate the temperature of compression springs in a linear convection furnace to a specific temperature before dropping them into dial plate pockets. Servo driven ball screw actuators compress the heated springs to specific length (above closed length) and holds that position while the pockets flood with a coolant to temper the springs. Each spring is then checked with load cells to ensure proper tempering occurred. These systems heat sets over 5000 springs per hour.
